On December 6–7, 2025, the Krakow Mountain Festival will take place.
We are looking forward to the 23rd edition of this unique event, which will once again be held in the modern interiors of ICE Kraków.

The program of the 23rd KFG will include film competitions, numerous talks and literary discussions, as well as lectures by outstanding alpinists – including guests from abroad. Among the invited guests will be Barbara Zangerl, Jacopo Larcher, Silvo Karo, Bernd Zangerl, and, from Poland, Piotr Krzyżowski, Bartek Ziemski, Anna Okopińska, Janusz Majer, Marcin Tomaszewski, Michał Czech, Wadim Jabłoński, and many other remarkable climbers and mountaineers.
Mountain and rock safety enthusiasts will enjoy an engaging series of workshops led by, among others: Bogusław Kowalski, Maciek Ciesielski, Waldek Niemiec, Tomek Nodzyński, the Tricamp Climbing School, Patrycja Jonetzko, Wojciech Kłapcia, Damian Granowski, and Marcin Kopciński together with Andrzej Mecherzyński-Wiktor.
KFG is also about literature – discussions on mountain books and new releases. Guests associated with this field will include: Janusz Majer, Anna Pigoń, Mariusz Biedrzycki, Zbyszek Piotrowicz, Ewa Grzęda, Piotr Trybalski, Anna Okopińska, Danuta Wach, Krzysztof Marchlewicz, Adam Bielecki, Dominik Szczepański, Stanisław Pisarek, and Ryszard Warecki. The meetings will be hosted by Beata Słama, Bartek Dobroch.
A particularly interesting novelty will be the festival’s theatrical debut. For the first time on the KFG stages, we will present a play – “Hibernation”, directed by Beniamin M. Bukowski. It is a monodrama inspired by the story of Tomek Mackiewicz. The lead role will be performed by Krystian Durman.
The Krakow Festival is inseparably associated with mountain cinema – and this year will be no different. More than 20 films from around the world will be screened in the ICE Kraków cinemas. The films will compete for the KFG Grand Prix, and this year’s jury will include Kinga Baranowska, Dariusz Załuski and Marco Ribetti.
An important change regarding the film section: during this edition, there will be no online platform – all screenings will take place exclusively on December 6 and 7 at ICE Kraków.
The rich weekend program will also feature a fair of outdoor gear and clothing.
