Director’s bio, Maxime Moulin:
I started making films because I wanted to manipulate images and sound to create stories. I am inspired by sports in the broadest sense and the stories or adventures that come from them.
This includes directing creative projects around action sports and outdoor sports, directing commercials, making series of athlete portraits, docu-series, or long-form documentaries.
Through these projects, I have been greatly inspired by the people and subjects at the heart of my films. I believe this is the essence of my journey; the various awards we have won as a team (production + creative team) are just the cherry on top of a much broader experience.
Since 2022, I have co-founded Clustr Films, which brings together all the teams I work with to make my films, based on a model of a creative house, production company, and collective of directors.
