A mountaineer, Himalayan climber, and filmmaker. He is the author of numerous films, mainly focused on mountains, which have been awarded both in Poland and internationally. He has climbed, among others, K2 and Mount Everest twice, and participated in many Polish expeditions, including national winter expeditions, where he also served as a cameraman. He has been involved in most of Andrzej Bargiel’s Himalayan projects.

In 2021, he received the prestigious Grand Prize of the IAMF (International Alliance for Mountain Film), awarded to filmmakers who have made significant contributions to the history of mountain cinematography.
