Northern Lines

Far beyond the Arctic Circle, where towering mountains rise straight from the sea, a small group of friends from around the world sets out on an extraordinary journey to tackle untouched ski descents in the harsh Arctic climate.

From Poland, through Austria, to New Zealand, their paths converge aboard two sailboats — Naomi and Festina Lente — navigating deep fjords and the unpredictable waters of the Arctic. Combining sailing and skiing, they embrace adventure in its purest form: seeking isolation, adapting to nature’s ever-changing moods, and descending pristine mountain faces. Every run is earned, every summit is a reward, and the ocean becomes their highway to a world where time slows and the mountains belong only to those willing to make the effort.

Northern Lines is more than a ski film — it is a story of freedom, discovery, and the bonds between people united by a shared passion. Against the dramatic backdrop of northern Norway, the film celebrates the beauty of journeying to places few have ventured and the timeless pursuit of skiing the perfect line.
