Twenty years ago, Kazuya Hiraide, three times Piolets d’Or winner by conquering unclimbed routes of Kamet, Shispare and Rakaposhi, discovered an ideal climbing route on the north face of Tirich Mir (7708 m). In 2022, Hiraide asked Kenro Nakajima, his climbing partner since 2016, to climb it together. Nakajima is younger and less-experienced than Hiraide, but Hiraide trusts him. No one has climbed this route before and the two climbers have absolutely no idea what kind of danger they will face.
