Sadpara is a journey through the heart of Pakistan’s mountains, following the origin of a name that eventually becomes a population.
Exploring the bond that unites them with the high lands, what emerges is the simple routine of a small community with a strong and pristine character, set against the immensity of the Karakoram landscape.
Filmmaker, mountaineer, explorer. I document and delve into stories, territories, humanity. I narrate places, people and mountains.
Often, I personally oversee the entire creative process of my projects, from directing to photography, from filming to editing. At other times, I collaborate with a team of amazing professionals who are also, first and foremost, friends.
I produced and directed two documentaries, Finale ’68 (2018) and Sadpara (2024).
